Dream on Dreamer!
Entrepreneurship may not be everyones career choice, but as a teenager I dreamed a dreamed of having my own business and for years I told no one. I remember the day I told my best girlfriend and she was supportive and thought is was a great idea. That is when I started silently and privately believing that it could be possible. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would have birthed out multiple businesses in the last decade when I dreamed that originally dream. I wouldn't say to anyone believing in your dream is easy, but quite the contrary it takes a lot of hard work, belief in yourself and the courage to do it the way you see it in your heart. You will need discipline, diligence, and some really thick skin.
Haters, naysayers, self-doubt and simply hearing "no or no thank you" multiple times can cause you to want to quit and bow out gracefully. But for all those out there who have a dream please don't give up on it whether it is big or small. Who you are and what you have to offer the world around you wasn't ever suppose to stay locked in your head and heart, but to be released for the betterment of someone else.
For myself it has all been worth it.. All of it! The good, the bad, and the down right U-G-L-Y! I have learned so much about myself in the process and the one thing I know for sure is quitting is not an option. One of the greatest pleasures I have been afforded is meeting so many wonderful and talented people along the way. Those people have in some way contributed in me not throwing away my dream but growing it. Dreamers out there don't stop at the thought of your dream, but do something about it. Take the first step and tell someone you trust about it.
Use what you have and get to work. Every building first starts with laying the foundation and by adding one brick at a time. I love you and I'm praying for you.
